CarProof’s new badging service simplifies used car shopping experience with enhanced transparency

CarProof Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of a new badging service to their already best-in-class vehicle history reports (VHRs).  The new service makes it easy for car buyers to identify some of the key attributes they may be looking for in a used vehicle such as those that are Accident Free™ and/or have only had One Owner™.

CarProof is launching badges in an effort to simplify the way used car information is presented to the public on its report and online.

“In numerous recent studies, consumers rated previous accident information as mission critical to the used car research process,” says Ed Woiteshek, President and CEO at CarProof. “Used car buyers want information they can digest in a single glance that is easy to understand. With these badges, shoppers can tell right away if the vehicle they’re looking at has the features that matter to them.  Our hope is that this will change the way consumers use our reports and search for cars online.”

By making VHRs easier to understand, CarProof badges will showcase the commitment to transparency of its dealer partners, making it clear to the public that they’re a seller consumers can trust.

The badges will appear on CarProof vehicle history reports beginning September 2nd and opportunities to digitally integrate badges into online vehicle listings will follow soon-after.
